Due diligence costs

Reports and checks you’ll typically order before or during due diligence — these come first because you often pay them before you’ve even confirmed your deposit.

It’s more than the deposit

Reports, legal fees, insurance and moving costs are easy to forget — and they’re due before or at settlement, on top of your deposit.

Some costs are optional

A building report or valuation may not always be needed — it depends on the property and what your bank requires. Talk to us and your adviser before deciding to skip one.
