Key Dates

When are my deadlines, really?

Your agreement counts in working days, and working days skip weekends, public holidays and the whole stretch from 24 December to 5 January. Enter the day you signed and your conditions, and see the real date and time each one falls due, with settlement checked too.

1

Your agreement

Use the dates and working-day counts written in the signed agreement, not what anyone has told you.

Your conditions

Ten working days is the usual period for finance, LIM and building report conditions. Shorter periods are tight: a LIM alone can take most of ten working days from Auckland Council.

2

Your deadlines, on real days

Each condition must be confirmed, or extended in writing, by 5pm on its date. Settlement moves back to the working day before if the agreement names a weekend or holiday.
